The best part of this is he doesn’t know what a fedora is. He doesn’t know he’s actually wearing a hat called a trilby. The difference between a fedora and a trilby is like night and day.
Why do I know this? Because my archaeology professor yelled at a kid for calling his trilby a fedora as he grabbed his own fedora and shouted “This is a fedora! Indiana Jones wears a fedora! I wear a fedora! I am the real-life goddamn Indiana Jones!”
I also know this because I am a lesbian who loves Indiana Jones, who knows the difference between fedoras and trilby’s, and who owns her own fucking fabulous trilby I love to wear.
Moral of the story? Archaeologists and lesbians (and lesbian anthropology students such as myself) are goddamn serious about their fedoras and their trilby’s.
Cool story sis (srsly), but you leave that trilby on your bookshelf. I hardly ever see you wear it. XD

Pic of the Day for September 19th!
i feel like this is what would happen if pokemon gym leaders were real
tbh i think straight girls appreciate girls more than straight boys do
we’re the ones that have sex with them so i think that’s unlikely
1. Straight men are not the only people having sex with women
2. I got some fascinating news to tell you about the disappointing nature of most straight men in bed
3. Fucking women doesn’t mean you appreciate them as people, not in the slightest
Plus we appreciate the time and effort that goes into applying makeup, whereas most straight guys don’t (and at worst, they’ll belittle you and call makeup a lie).
- Dated: early 20th century
- Culture: African
- Place of Origin: D. R. Congo, Africa
- Measurements: overall lenght 16”; blade lenght 11 1/4”; pommel lenght 2 1/2”
Often attributed to the Topoke, Lokele or Tetela peoples of Zaire, the sword has a wood handle wrapped in copper wire. The solid iron pommel is quite heavy and has brass inlay on one side. The blade features intricate lines chiseled into the surface. The swords of this size and quality were used for battle, but many of this type - with the iron pommel - were also used as status symbols and currency.
